Students: You have
done a fantastic job filling the student volunteer spots!
Ask your parents to come help, too, please!
Please check the

Band Boosters Board and Committees
Band Booster officers are rotating off the board (or
'graduating') at the end of school year. A list of all board and
committee positions is posted on the Band Booster page. Many committee
positions will need to be filled, also. Please be thinking about how
you can help the Band Boosters in the coming year/s.
Fund Raising
$100 investment =
$100 groceries/gas + $5.00 income
If you grocery shop at either
Ingles or Food City you can raise money for the band at no cost
to yourself.
Ingles and Food City sell gift
cards to us at a 5% discount. That 5% is shared equally between the
band general fund and the student account. In other words, buy a card
for $100, use it to purchase $100 groceries and/or gasoline PLUS
receive $2.50 in your student's account and $2.50 to the band account.
By using these cards for most
of my groceries and gasoline, I was able to pay for band camp for two
students each year and still have money in their accounts for clinics.

Message From Mr. Thomas
Mr. Thomas wants parents to know that he is not
in the band room after school on home game days. Mr. Thomas arrives approximately 30 minutes before
the students are required to be in their seats.
This means that if students stay at
the school on home game days, they are not supervised.
